In this case we invite you to have a closer look at this DOP viewer, which provides you with an overview of all Official Digital Orthophotos (DOP) covering the area from the Alps to the North Sea, as prepared and edited by the "Vermessungsverwaltungen der Lnder der Bundesrepublik Deutschland" (Surveying Authorities of the States of the Federal Republic of Germany). In this context, DOP means distortion-free, true-scale and georeferenced aerial photographs allowing for great detail reproduction due to their density of information.
... with the DOP - Viewer
The Viewer allows you to have a visual insight into the Digital Orthophotos (DOP) available in a ground resolution of 40cm. Further, the DOP can in the viewer be overlaid with data from the Basic Landscape Model of the "Amtliches Topographisch-Kartographisches Informationssystem" (Authoritative Topographic - Cartographic Information System). Moreover, you can refer to an address search system. The right to use the data is granted exclusively for visual viewing. Data utilization exceeding this scope of granted rights is not allowed. In case of any further questions in this matter we kindly request you to contact the responsible Vertriebszentren der Bundesländer (Distribution Centers of the States of the FRG) and, with state boundary-crossing matters of use, the Bundesamt für Kartographie und Geodäsie (Federal Agency for Cartography and Geodesy).
